Attorney John Putman of Tillamook, OR; slacker

The state of Oregon provided John R. Putman with a law license in 1983 after he graduated from Williamette University Law School.

The Oregon State Bar found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to timely file accountings in estate matter
• Engaged in a pattern of neglect of client matter
• Failed to keep court apprised of status of estate
• Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
• Failed to vigorously pursue resolution of estate’s tax problems
• Failed to close estate in a timely manner
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license. 

As we speak (ca. August 2016) Johnny practices with the Law Office of John R. Putman at 416 Laurel Avenue in Tillamook, Oregon.
