Attorney John Dalton of Buena Vista, CO; ethical dwarf

The state of Colorado provided John W. Dalton with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from the University of Colorado Law School.

The Colorado State Bar found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Johnny was hired to probate an estate and to negotiate a settlement of a Medicaid claim. Even though he had not previously represented this client, Dalton failed to give the client a written fee agreement or to otherwise set forth his fee in writing as he was required to do.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary censure. 

As we speak (ca. July 2016), Johnny practices at 111 East Main Street in Buena Vista, Colorado.
