Attorney Michael Peck of Essex, CT; repeat offender

The state of Connecticut provided Michael Ruben Peck with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from the University of Detroit Law School.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

• Entered into improper business transaction with client
• Failed to advise client in writing to seek independent counsel

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Mike’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2016) Mike practices with Peck and Ficarra LLP at 3 Scholes Lane in Essex, Connecticut.
