Attorney Michael DeMayo of Charlotte, NC; bully, serial offender

The state of North Carolina presented Michael A. DeMayo with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of North Carolina Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

Mike’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Redacted relevant information from client files re: prior medical history
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation    

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Mike’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Made material misrepresentations (lied) about his services
• Attempted to solicit representation of client using intimidation and/or coercion

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

Mike’s 3^rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Violated rules regarding advertisement of legal services
• Improperly advertised as a specialist in personal injury cases

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Mike by gifting him with a second complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2015) Mike practices with the Law Offices of Michael A. DeMayo in Charlotte, North Carolina.
