Attorney Carey Ewing of Durham, NC; ethical dwarf

The state of North Carolina presented Carey L. Ewing with a law license in 1997 when she graduated from South Texas University Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Carey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Disbursed client funds where the clients had not authorized such disbursement
• Disbursement of funds not done on behalf of clients
• Engaged in a conflict of interest

As a consequence of her misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Carey by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2015) Carey practices with the Ewing Law Center PC at 2304 South Miami Blvd in Durham, North Carolina.
