Attorney Michael Romansky of DC; lying thief, repeat offender
The District of Columbia presented Michael A. Romansky with a law license in 1977.
The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.
Mike’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeals Board punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.
Mike’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree
In one matter, Mike directed an associate attorney in his firm to charge time spent working on a matter for Mike’s father to another firm client who paid a fixed annual retainer for legal services.
In addition, Mike engaged in dishonesty when he submitted to his firm, in the course of an internal investigation, a purported client letter of recommendation that he had written, but which the client had not approved and had expressly instructed him not to use.
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeals Board punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.
