The state of Maryland presented James Steven Maxwell with a law license in 1976.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Engaged in prohibited business transactions with a client
• Represented multiple clients with conflicting interests
• Failed to disclose conflicts with various clients
• Failed to obtain consent of clients to engage in conflict of interest

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2016), Jimmy practices with Maxwell Barke & Zuckerman LLC at 51 Monroe Place in Rockville, Maryland.
