Attorney Jorge Cruz of Elizabeth, NJ; ethical leprechaun

The state of New Jersey presented Jorge Cruz with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from Seton Hall University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct

• Engaged in conflict of interest
• Prepared application and affidavit for transfer of liquor license and failed to disclose to the liquor commission that the beneficiary of the transaction had an interest in two other liquor licenses
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.  

As we speak (ca. July 2016) Johnny practices in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
