Attorney Michael W. Blum of Columbia, MO; serial scofflaw, ethical gnome

The Missouri Supreme Court was guilty of an egregious error in judgment when it gifted Michael W. Blum with a law license in 1999.

In late 2009, the Missouri Disciplinary Commission found Mr. Blum guilty of the following misconduct:
  1. Failing to deposit client funds into his client trust account
  2. Repeatedly failing to respond to requests for information from disciplinary authorities
  3. Providing financial assistance to client during pending litigation
  4. Commingling his own funds with client funds
  5. Failing to act diligently
  6. Repeated failures to adequately communicate with clients by not returning phone calls or responding to letters
  7. Refusing to withdraw from a case when discharged by client
  8. Failing to return files to client when they requested
For engaging in the aforementioned misconduct, the enablers/apologists on the Disciplinary Commission gifted attorney Michael W. Blum by merely placing him on probation. Put simply, this certified loser was given a pass.

As we speak Blum continues to practice his so-called brand of law in Columbia, Missouri.
