Attorney Daniel Murray of Chicago; thief, repeat offender

The state of Illinois presented Daniel Francis Murray with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Danny guilty of the following misconduct.

Danny’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to pay lienholder from client settlement funds
• Neglected two civil claims
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker) in handling criminal case

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Danny by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

Danny’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Converted (stole) $4,976.60 in connection with personal injury claim
• Failed to refund $5,000 fee received for civil appeal he neglected

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Danny by gifting him with a yet another complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.
