Attorney Daniel Olsen of Jefferson, WI; convict

The state of Wisconsin presented Daniel E. Olsen with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Danny guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Danny was charged in a criminal case filed in Jefferson County Circuit Court with two separate counts of knowingly operating a motor vehicle while suspended - causing great bodily harm, a Class 1 felony. At the time, Danny was knowingly driving with a suspended driver’s license.

After pleading no-contest (guilty in effect), Danny Olsen was found guilty of two separate amended counts of reckless driving – causing bodily harm, an unclassified misdemeanor. Knowing that he was driving with a suspended driver’s license, by engaging in conduct leading to a misdemeanor conviction of two counts of reckless driving – causing bodily harm.

In another matter,Danny found it acceptable to engage in the illegal practices of law even though his law license was suspe nded at the time.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Danny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2016), Danny practices at 104 West Linden Drive in Jefferson, Wisconsin.
