Attorney Daniel Guinn of New Philadelphia, OH; cheating idiot

The state of Ohio presented Daniel Joseph Guinn with a law license in 2009 after he graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Danny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to advise client appeal had been dismissed
• Failed to refund $1,000 retainer
• Failed to communicate with client
• Charged or collected illegal or excessive fee (cheater)
• Engaged in reckless conduct by filing frivolous (BS) lawsuit
• Failed to notify client he wasn’t covered by malpractice insurance
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Danny by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 2-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Danny.
