Attorney F. Clayton Tyler of Minneapolis; serial tax cheat, repeat offender

The state of Minnesota presented F. Clayton Tyler with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School.

The Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility found Clayton guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to timely file federal and state income tax returns for 5 years
  • Failed to timely file federal and state quarterly employee withholding tax returns for 6 years

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Clayton’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received two () admonitions for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney/Judicial Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Clayton by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2016), Clayton practices in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
