Attorney Wallace Gustafson of Willmar, MN; thieving loser

The state of Minnesota presented Wallace Gustafson with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School.

The Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility found Wally guilty of the following misconduct.

• Committed trust account violation
• Failed to share fees with partners in his firm
• Deposited checks in bank in adjoining town rather than firm’s account
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation  
• Failed to deposit prepaid probate fees into interest bearing trust account
• Intentionally misappropriated (stole) client funds

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Wally’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received one () admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney/Judicial Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Wally by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. June 2016), Wally practices in Willmar, Minnesota.
