Attorney Amanda Marshall of Canby, OR; lying loser

The state of presented Amanda Jennifer Marshall with a law license in 2015 after she graduated from Case Western University Law School in Cleveland, Ohio.

The U.S. Justice Department found Amanda guilty of the following misconduct, all of which took place while she was employed as U.S. Attorney in Oregon.

• Involved in intimate and personal relationship with deputy lasting more than a year
• Engaged in sexual harassment
• Lied to investigators about her relationship with
• Sent numerous harassing text messages to assistant U.S. attorney (AUSA) Scott Keri

In its findings, the Justice Department said:

“The relationship, and the multiple harassing communications the U.S. Attorney sent to the AUSA after their intimate relationship ended, violated laws and regulations against sexual harassment.”

“Marshall attempted to influence or impede the investigation by communicating to the AUSA that the AUSA was the subject of the OIG’s investigation and that the AUSA should get an attorney and not speak with OIG.”

Amanda subsequently resigned her position as U.S. Attorney in Oregon.
