Attorney Lanea Witkus of Newport, NH; lying loser

The state of New Hampshire presented Lanea A. Witkus with a law license in 1977 after she graduated from George Washington University Law School.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Lanea guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Violated duty of candor to a trial court
  • Violated or attempted to Rules of Professional Conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Failed to advise court of adverse material facts

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Lanea’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. She previously received one (1) complimentary warning for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of her misconduct his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Professional Conduct Committee punished Lanea by gifting her with complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2016), Lanea practices at 34 Belknap Avenue in Newport, New Hampshire.
