Attorney Joyce Rosenthal of Clawson, MI; slacker

The state of Michigan presented Joyce E. Rosenthal with a law license in 1969 after she graduated from Wayne State University Law School.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel found Joyce guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Neglected a legal matter
• Failed to explain matter to extent necessary for client to make informed decisions regarding representation
• Failed to take steps to protect client interests after being fired
• Knowingly failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Joyce!)

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Joyce by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.  

As we speak (ca. May 2016), Joyce practices at 1384 Anderson Road in Clawson, Michigan.
