Attorney John Royal of Detroit; repeat offender

 

The state of Michigan presented John F. Royal with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from Wayne State University Law School.

 

The Tri-County Hearing Panel found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Johnny’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Neglected a legal matter
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to advise client of status of matter
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to respond to client information requests
  • Failed to advise client of basis or rate of his fee in writing

As a consequence of him misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

 

Johnny’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to advise client of status of matter
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Neglected client’s legal matter
  • Violated or attempted to violate Rules of Conduct by knowingly assisting or inducing another to do so, or doing so through the acts of another

As a consequence of him misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
