Attorney John Long of Issaquah, WA; ethical dwarf

The state of Washington presented John A. Long with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) Law School.

The Washington State Bar found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conflict of interest
• Shared fees with non-attorney
• Provided client with improperly worded fee agreement
• Failed to deposit client funds into client trust account
• Failed to provide client with notice prior to paying himself $5,000 in fees
• Improperly paid commission to secure clients

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
