Attorney Gilbert Cauthon III of Gainesville, FL; moronic slacker

The state of Florida presented Gilbert Ray Cauthon III with a law license in 1998 after he graduated from the University of Florida Law School.

The State Bar of Florida found Gil guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Failed to explain matter to extent reasonably necessary to permit client to make informed decisions regarding the representation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Gil by gifting him with a complimentary 10-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2016) Gil is employed by the University of Florida at 368 J. Wayne Reitz Union in Gainesville, Florida.
