Attorney Herchel Sims of La Costa, CA; ethical elf

The state of California provided Herchel McCoy Sims with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of California Hastings Law School.

The California Bar Court found Herchel guilty of the following misconduct.

• Deposited personal funds into client trust account
• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to pay opposing counsel $650 court ordered sanction
• Failed to appear in at court hearings
• Communicated with person represented by counsel
• Engaged in multiple acts of misconduct

As a consequence of his misconduct the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Herchel by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2016), Herchel practices with the Law Office of H.J. Sims at 7668 El Camino Real in La Costa, California.
