Attorney Deborah McGowin of Mobile; ethical dwarf

The state of Alabama presented Deborah Diane McGowin with law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of Alabama Law School.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Debbie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to re-file client’s case in timely manner
• Failed to communicate with clients
• Allowed statute of limitations to expire re: client claims
• Failed to advise clients that court dismissed their case
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Debbie!)

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Debbie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2016), Debbie practices in Mobile, Alabama.
