Attorney James Martin of St. Louis; repeat offender

The state of Missouri presented James M. Martin with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from St. Louis University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

Jimmy’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Jimmy!)
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to communicate with clients
  • Failed to provide client with written fee agreement

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

Jimmy’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to safeguard client property
  • Failed to take proper steps to protect client interests after being fired

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2016), Jimmy practices with Martin Malec & Leopold at 1007 Olive Street in St. Louis, Missouri.
