The state of Alabama presented James David Brooks with law license in 1984 after she graduated from the Birmingham Law School.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Becky guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, a District Court ordered Becky’s client to submit a urine sample to be trusted for drugs. Rebecca then provided a sample of her own urine to the court rather than that of her client as the court had ordered.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Becky by gifting her with a complimentary 45-day suspension of her law license.
