Attorney Felipe Sotolongo of Palm Springs, FL; slacker

The state of Florida provided Felipe Sotolongo with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from the University of Florida Law School. 

The Florida State Bar found Felipe guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
• Failed to take steps to protect client’s interests after being fired
• Committed a criminal act that reflects adversely on a lawyer’s honesty, trustworthiness, or fitness as a lawyer

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Felipe by gifting him with a complimentary 91-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2016), Felipe practices at 3003 South Congress Avenue in Palm Springs, Florida.
