Attorney Juan Lenoir of New York City, thieving loser

The state of New York presented Dan M. De La Rosa with a law license in 1975 after he graduated from Hofstra University Law School.

The Departmental Disciplinary Committee found Juan guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Knowingly misappropriated (stole) trust account funds
  • Failed to maintain required trust account records
  • Disbursed trust account funds to himself even though he did not have sufficient funds on deposit to pay for the disbursements
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, dishonesty, deceit and misrepresentation
  • Failed to safeguard client funds

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Disciplinary Commission punished Juan by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in New York are held to a much lower standard of conduct then every one else, Juan was never criminally charged with grand theft.

As we speak (ca. April 2015), Juan practices at 100 West 92nd Street in New York, New York.
