Attorney Brian Walsh of New Britain, CT; ethical misfit

The state of Connecticut provided Brian Thomas Walsh with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Villanova University Law School.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Brian guilty of the following misconduct

  • Failed to respond to client inquiries
  • Failed to provide client with required written fee agreement
  • Failed to return numerous client calls
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up Yours, said Brian!)
  • Failed to account to client for any progress in her legal matter for nearly two years
  • Failed to advise client in writing the basis or rate of his fee

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Brian by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2016) Brian is employed with the Public Defenders Office at 20 Franklin Square in New Britain, Connecticut.
