Attorney Joseph Morris of Chicago; slacker, repeat offender

The state of Illinois presented Joseph Allan Morris with a law license in 1976.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

Joey’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

In one matter, Joey neglected a deportation proceeding against a mentally ill young client.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary censure

Joey’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Lied to client regarding status of lawsuit
• Failed to pursue arbitration matter on client’s behalf

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (March 2016), Joey practices with Morris & De La Rosa at 6171 North Sheridan Road in Chicago, Illinois.
