Attorney Benjamin Matthews of Columbia, SC; imbecilic loser

The State of South Carolina presented Benjamin Rushton Matthews with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Benny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (imbecile)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to safeguard client funds and property
• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Failed to comply with mandatory recordkeeping rules

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Benny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2016) Benny practices with Matthews & Megna LLC at 3400 West Avenue in Columbia, South Carolina.
