Attorney John Holmes Jr. of Sanford, NC; lying slacker

The state of North Carolina provided John Montgomery Holmes Jr. with a law license in 2004 after he graduated from Campbell University Law School.

FYI: Campbell University School of Law is ranked as the 166^th best law school in the country out of 200 ABA (American Bar Association) accredited law schools.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Conduct resulted in significant actual harm to client
• Misconduct prevented client from achieving goal of representation
• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Failed to keep client informed of status of matter
• Failed to respond to client information requests
• Improperly divided legal fees
• Made false and misleading statements

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary censure. 

As we speak (ca. March 2016) Johnny practices with the Powell Holmes Law Group at 1310 Woodland Avenue in Sanford, North Carolina.
