Attorney Alison Erca of Chapel Hill, NC; thieving loser

The state of North Carolina presented Alison A. Erca with a law license in 1991 after she graduated from Golden State University Law School in San Francisco.

The North Carolina State Bar found Alison guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matterAlison stole an ancient artifact from the North Carolina Maritime Museum, which was a seven-inch C. Megalodon tooth. Alison absconded with the tooth by stuffing it down her pants.

FYI: C. Megalodon is an ancient species of Shark that lived approximately 15.9 to 2.6 million years ago, during the Cenozoic Era.

Alison attempted to return the shark’s tooth by tossing it into a bush outside the museum but was subsequently arrested. She was then charged with felonious larceny and released on a $10,000 bond. Luckily for Alison the Museum decided to have the charges dismissed.

Alison’s theft of a Shark tooth gives further credence to the attorney-Shark jokes.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the State Bar punished Alison by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2016), Alison practices at 8218 Bright’s Way in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
