In 2011, Tommy duped the voters in the Orange County area into electing him as a member of the Florida House of Representatives.

Recently (mid-February 2016), the Florida House’s State Affairs Committee approved a bill that would allow Florida Gov. Rick Scott to use “military force” against “invaders” from the “Eastern Hemisphere.” The alleged “invaders” are in actuality refugees fleeing the wars in Syria and Iraq.

Prior to the approval of the bill, Ms. Laila Abdelazis spent a great deal of time trying to convince state legislators to vote down the anti-refugee legislation. She was obliviously unsuccessful.

Subsequently, as she entered a elevator in the statehouse, she ran into State. Rep. Tommy Goodson. She then described on a Facebook post what took place, which is as follows.

• “A Representative that should damn well know better walked into the elevator and jokingly hesitated while looking at me, and said 'Oh, is it safe to ride the elevator with you?”
• “Everyone laughed. Every single one of them laughed (Democrat, Republican, white, black, old, young) as I was belittled with a wildly inappropriate remark that because I'm a Muslim this Representative should be afraid to ride in an elevator with me.”
• “It’s not funny. It hurts.”

Subsequently, Ms. Abdelazis named Tommy as the bigoted loser that confronted her on the elevator. As one would suspect, Tommy the Bigot refused to respond to numerous media inquires about the matter from Huffington Post reporters.

I suppose that Tommy and his fellow comrades likely continued to laugh and slap each other on the back as they headed over to the Sugar and Spice Club on Woodgate Way in Tallahassee to celebrate Tommy’s bigoted statement to Ms. Abdelazis.

And lastly, Ms. Abdelazis was lucky that she was mistreated by Tommy rather than his brother because Tommy is the Good son.

Congrats Tommy; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Bigots”; you are far too humble.
