Attorney Blake Givens of Tulsa; convicted child beater

The state of Oklahoma presented Blake Rodman Givens with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the University of Tulsa Law School.

The Oklahoma Bar Association found Blake guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Blake was arrested and charged with domestic assault and battery in the presence of a minor child and disturbing the peace. Blake’s wife and two children, ages 14 and 7, were sleeping in their car to avoid Bale who was intoxicated when he approached t he car and accused his 14-year-old-son of breaking a television set.

Subsequently, Blake the Batterer (BB) pled guilty to domestic abuse and received an 18-month deferred sentence.

As one would suspect, within a year, Blake was arrested again after he struck his son in the back of the head. As was the case when he first assaulted his son, BB was inebriated at the time.

It was reported that BB completed an inpatient batterer’s intervention program, which he attended at the Mel Gibson Institute for Wife Beaters located in Beverly Hills, California.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oklahoma Supreme Court punished Blake by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (February 2016), Blake will be practicing law again in July 2016 in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area.
