Attorney George Scroggie of Toronto; ethical dwarf

The Law Society presented George Donald Scroggie with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from the University of Windsor Law School.

A Disciplinary Hearing Panel found George guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, George failed to co-operate with a Law Society investigation arising from the Spot Audit Program by failing to produce books and records requested by a Law Society investigator in letters and contacts by telephone. In short, George said, “Up yours!”

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee of the Law Society of Upper Canada punished George by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
