Attorney Robert Royal of Memphis; liar, repeat offender

 

The state of Tennessee provided Robert Edward Royal with a law license in 1962 after he graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School.

 

The Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

 

Bobby’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Failed to include necessary parties in lawsuit
  • Allowed statute of limitations to run with respect to certain parties
  • Failed to file responsive pleadings on behalf of clients
  • Misled [lied] to his clients about status of their case
  • Failed to communicate with clients for months in estate matter

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

 

Bobby’s 2nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

  • Misrepresented [lied] to client various actions and stages of lawsuits that Bobby had actually never filed on behalf of the client (victim)
  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Failed to turn over client file to client’s new attorney                     

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Supreme Court punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

 

As we speak (ca. March 2016) Bobby practices at3540 Summer Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee.
