Attorney Larrick Stapleton of Ardmore, PA; convicted thief

The state of Pennsylvania presented David Ferleger with a law license in 1963.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Larry guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to deposit $350,000 in estate funds into proper trust account
  • Converted (stole) over $100,000 from one estate heir
  • Secretary embezzled $400,000 in estate funds that Larrick improperly deposited into his own personal account rather than client trust account
  • Pled guilty to one count of mail fraud, a felony
  • Pled guilty to one count of interstate transportation of stolen securities
  • Sentenced to 18 months in a federal penitentiary

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Larry by revoking his law license.

Unbelievably, 12 years after his criminal convictions, the comedians sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court voted to reinstate the Larry the Felons law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2016), Larry practices at 50 Rittenhouse Place in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.
