Attorney Scott Bowman of Gladstone, OR; tax scofflaw

The state of Oregon provided Scott P. Bowman with a law license in 1987.

The Oregon State Bar found Scotty guilty of the following misconduct.

• Submitted bad check to State Bar for annual renewal fees
• Willfully failed to file federal tax returns for three consecutive years
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Scotty!)
• Failed to deposit client funds in a trust account
• Failed to preserve client property
• Misconduct involved multiple offenses
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Engaged in illegal practice of law while license suspended

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Scotty by gifting him with a complimentary 4-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2016) Scotty practices in Gladstone, Oregon.
