Attorney Michael Rajek of Eau Claire, WI; ethical gremlin

The state of Wisconsin presented Michael M. Rajek with a law license in 1974after he graduated from the University of Oklahoma Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Mike intentionally structured various cash transactions during the summer and fall of 2000, so that each transaction involved an amount below $10,000 so as to avoid the issuance of a Currency Transaction Report that would alert the IRS and other creditors to his possession of these funds in violation of Federal Law.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. March 2016), Mike practices with the Law Office of Michael M. Rajek at 306 Barstow Court in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
