Attorney Paul Polacek of Wisconsin Dells, WI; repeat offender

The state of Wisconsin presented Paul Douglas Polacek with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Widener University Law School.

The Office of Lawyer Registration (OLR) found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Wrote check on insufficient funds account (rubber)
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Paulie!)
• Comingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to maintain complete trust account records
• Failed to provide opposing counsel with motion and affidavit in divorce case
• Engaged in improper ex parte (one-sided) communications with trial court
• Failed to properly supervise office staff

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Paulie’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received two (2) complimentary reprimands for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Wisconsin Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with yet another complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. February 2016), Paulie practices with the Law Office of Paul Polacek SC at 41 West Munroe Avenue in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.
