Attorney Jeffrey Werner of Cornwall on Hudson, NY; drunken loser

The state of New York presented Jeffrey Russell Werner with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from Georgetown University Law School.

Jeff’s misconduct occurred while he was employed as a part-time Justice of the Newburgh Town Court in Orange County, which led the Judicial Commission to find him guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Jeff found it appropriate to identify himself as a judge when he was stopped by the police and charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

Jeff’s attempt to curry favor with the police did not bear any fruit.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Jeff by gifting him with a complimentary admonition.
