Attorney Marc Peterson of Gainesville; advocate for convicted Perv

The state of Florida provided Mark Joseph Peterson with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the University of Florida Law School.

In one matter, Marc decided it was acceptable to testify as a “character witness” on behalf former Assistant State Attorney William Ezzell of Gainesville to have his law license reinstated. Ezzell pled no contest to video voyeurism, a felony in the third-degree.

In his testimony on behalf of the Perv’s effort to have his law license reinstated, Marc laughingly stated: 

• He’s very respectful [exception for undressed women in tanning booths]
• He very fair [limits criminal voyeurism to adult women]

Hopefully, the Perv reimbursed Cannan for the costs he incurred in purchasing a pair of Industrial Strength Knee Pads for him to use while testifying on his behalf.

As we speak (ca. February 2016), Marc continues to be employed as an Assistant State Attorney in Gainesville, Florida.
