This isn’t the first Award presented to the NRA and/or it’s lobbyists. In the past, they've been the recipient of ten (10) Awards in various categories. Those awards are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

Recently (mid-January 2016), the NRA (National Rifle Association) decided to publish an ad promoting gun sales by using the “Little Red Riding Hood” fairytale as an example of why children and/or grandmas should arm themselves. (Hilary Hanson, Huffington Post)

In its asinine ad, the NRA depicts Little Red Riding Hood and her Grandma as being armed as they succeed in defending themselves against the Big Bad Wolf.

I’m not sure but I believe that the Big Bad Wolf was out on parole when he decided to attack Little Red Riding Hood and her Grandma. In fact, if the Wolf had been arrested at the time, it would have been his third felony, meaning he would have received a life sentence at the San Diego Zoo.

What’s next for the comedians at the NRA? Maybe they’ll run some ads based on the following fairy tales, all of which portray the victims armed with guns for self-protection.

• Beauty and the Beast – Penelope Cruz ravaged by Bill Cosby
• Goldilocks and the Three Bears – Goldie Hawn attacked by three former Chicago Bear defensive backs
• Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs – Shirley Temple assaulted by a group of Seven Dwarfs, all armed with AK-47s

Congrats NRA; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Comedians”; you are far too humble.
