Attorney Jesse Matson of Fargo, ND; idiotic cheater

The state of North Dakota provided Jesse David Matson with a law license in 2011 after he graduated from the William Mitchell College of Law. 

The Disciplinary Board found Jesse guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to refund unearned fees (cheater)
• Failed to timely respond to client inquires in divorce matter
• Failed to show up for a trial until seconds before it started
• Lied to client about obtaining amended judgment in child support case
• Failed to properly under military compensation system
• Abandoned client without any notice
• Failed to provide client with itemized bill
• Failed to file any papers with district court in a divorce matter after receiving a $4,000 retainer from his client (victim)
• Documents filed in court exhibited incompetence in divorce case (moron)
• Lack of timeliness caused serious delays with client’s case
• Failed to provide new attorney with clients file
• Charged unreasonable fees (cheater)
• Misconduct caused injury to his clients

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Jesse’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He was previously disciplined for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the North Dakota Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2016) Jesse will be practicing with the Matson Law Firm LLC at 51 Broadway North in Fargo, North Dakota beginning in March 2016 when his suspension comes to and end.
