Attorney Walter Lowry of Lakewood, CO; convicted druggie

The state of Colorado presented Walter David Lowry with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from the University of Denver Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel found Walt guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Walt met with an undercover police officer and purchased imitation methamphetamine for $100. Pursuant to the search incident to Walt’s arrest, the police searched his vehicle and found crack cocaine, a crack pipe, and a methamphetamine pipe.

Shortly thereafter, Walt pled guilty to possession of a controlled substance—schedule II—more than one gram, which is a class 4 felony.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Walt gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak, (ca. February 2016), Walt practices at 1245 Benton Street in Lakewood, Colorado.
