Attorney Nadine Smith of Fort Meyers, FL; convicted drunk

The State of Florida presented Nadine Rhodes Smith with a law license in 1994.

The Florida State Bar found Nadine guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Nadine was found in contempt for violating the terms of punishment she received for being found guilty of Driving Under the Influence (DUI).

Nadine was required to submit an evaluation with Florida Lawyers Assistance within 30 days of her acceptance of an admonishment. During the two-year contract period, Nadine was required to remain alcohol and drug-free. However, she tested positive for alcohol, failed to appear for two randomly scheduled tests and failed to record her monthly meeting attendance.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Nadine by gifting her with a complimentary 91-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. February 2016) Nadine practices at 13300 South Cleveland Avenue in Forty Myers, Florida.
