Attorney Patricia Barnes of Rockville, MD; ethical misfit

The District of Columbia presented Patricia A. Barnes with a law license in 1979 after she graduated from the University of Maryland Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Patty guilty of the following misconduct.

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Failed to promptly remove earned fees from trust account
• Failed to properly segregate third party funds

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeals punished Patty by gifting her with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. January 2016), Patty practices with the Law Offices of Patricia A. Barnes at 200-A Monroe Street in Rockville, Maryland.
