Attorney Neil Payne of Peoria, IL; lying cheater

The state of Illinois presented Neil Allen Payne with a law license in 1995.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Neil guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to diligently pursue six personal injury and workers’ compensation cases
  • Failed to adequately communicate with clients
  • Failed to timely refund unearned fee (cheater)
  • In 3 cases, client’s cases dismissed w/o client’s knowledge
  • Misrepresented (lied) to clients that cases were still pending

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Neil by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (January 2016), Neil practices with the Strong Law Offices at 3100 North Knoxville Avenue in Peoria, Illinois.
