Attorney Nicholas Sabatine III of Wind Gap, PA; convicted tax cheat

The state of Oregon presented Nicholas R. Sabatine III with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the University of Toledo Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Nick guilty of the following misconduct.

• Pled guilty to filing false tax return with IRS
• Failed to report kickbacks he received for advising clients to invest money in Blue Mountain Consumer Discount Company
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Misconduct related to Ponzi scheme that bilked millions from investors

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Nick by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. January 2016), Nick practices with Nicholas R. Sabatine III PC at 16 South Broadway in Wind Gap, Pennsylvania.
