Rep. John Duncan (TN): Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Johnny. In the past, he has been the recipient of one Moron Award, which can be viewed by visiting that Moron category.

Johnny has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the thirty-four years (1988 to 2015). If it wasn’t for a government check, Johnny likely would have been relegated to working as a greeter at the Walmart Supercenter on Chapman Highway in Knoxville, Tennessee.

In early December 2015, Johnny criticized a school memo that urged University of Tennessee-Knoxville employees to avoid religious overtones or symbols in holiday parties. Johnny called the memo “ridiculous.”

Johnny has demanded that the chancellor of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville resign because he is not sufficiently promoting Christianity during the holiday seas.

The university is of course a publicly funded institution and therefore cannot lawfully engage in “promoting Christianity” during the holiday seasons or at any other time. Put simply, it would be an unconstitutional act.

Apparently, when Johnny attended George Washington University Law School, he opted to not attend any classes on the constitution and the separation of church and state. This type of ignorance of the law likely led Johnny to opt to forgo a career in law knowing how difficult it would be to earn a dishonest living practicing law.

Congrats Johnny; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Scrfewballs”; you are far too humble.
