Attorney James Clouette of Little Rock; convicted druggie, repeater

The state of Arkansas presented James Paul Clouette with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

Jimmy’s 3^rd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree - 2011

In one matter, Jimmy was criminally convicted of felony possession of methamphetamine.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Jimmy by gifting him with fifth complimentary caution.

Jimmy’s 4^th bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree - 2015

• Failed to timely file appeal on client’s behalf
• Abandoned client’s appeal
• Failed to respond to state’s motion to dismiss client’s appeal
• Failed to obtain court permission to withdraw re: client’s appeal
• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Failed to abide by client decisions re: objectives to be pursued
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Jimmy by gifting him with fifth complimentary caution.

In addition to above referenced bites at the apple, Jack had previously received one (1) complimentary caution and one (1) complimentary reprimand. 

As we speak (ca. December 2015), Jimmy practices at 211 West Second Street in Little Rock, Arkansas.
